Who is hiving? Other interested/interesting people like you. When you join the hive at hiving™::party with a purpose, you will be invited to inventive parties that allow you to connect with your friends, meet some new ones, and do fun things that you might not normally do - all while raising a few bucks for worthwhile charities. This year, we've done all kinds of stuff - from a séance with a medium to shooting guns at the firing range to an Indian cooking class at a chef's home - and have raised thousands of dollars for charities like Feed the Children, Doctors Without Borders, and the L.A. Regional Food Bank. As a member, you'll have access to other parts of this fabulous hiving.net website, where you can check out photos from parties you've attended and find people you've met. And you'll receive a monthly newsletter about hiving-related stuff to do, buy, and experience.
Here's the thing: because hiving is a group whose members have an understanding and enthusiasm for the spirit of connections, YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED REFERRAL CODE [what's this?], OR BE REFERRED BY AN EXISTING HIVING::MEMBER, TO JOIN.
Membership Levels
INTERESTED membership is FREE, and includes access to hiving parties, the website, and monthly newsletter.
PURPOSEFUL membership ($25 per person) includes the above + invitations to other private events & special offers for one year from sign-up/upgrade.
PURPOSEFUL COUPLE membership ($40 for a couple at the same mailing address) includes the above + invitations to other private events & special offers for one year from sign-up/upgrade.
FOUNDING membership ($500 per person) includes tickets to all hiving::parties for one year, regardless of cost + all of the above. (Note: Founding members will be charged for cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours of parties...)
FOUNDING COUPLE membership ($950 for a couple at the same mailing address) includes tickets to all hiving::parties for one year, regardless of cost + all of the above.
*Founding Members and Founding Couples must cancel reservations for parties they cannot attend at least 48 hours prior to the party, or they will be charged the full ticket price that was posted for regular members. They will also be charged this price for not showing up without having canceled.
We reserve the right to change membership levels, price, and inclusions at any time.
A paid membership term lasts for one year from the date of sign-up. You'll be reminded by email to renew your membership before it expires. Memberships are non-refundable.
