



Sally's Summer Sangria
Suffer through the red wine hangover – it’s worth it with this refreshingly kewl party drink!
Pour 2 bottles red wine over a handful of ice in the bottom of a large punchbowl. Stir in 1/2 C. sugar until dissolved. Then add 1/2 C. Brandy and 2 oz. Cointreau, and thin slices of 1 orange and 1 lemon, stirring to combine. Let sit for at least 1 hour, but up to 5 or 6, refrigerated. When it's time to serve, pour half into a pitcher with ice and add 1 can 7-up. Refill as needed with the 2nd half and a 2nd 7-up.
Serve cold!
